Indigenuity

Hundreds of feet make the earth tremble
In the darkest hour
Their bodies become one with her
Forming a whole of uniqueness
They dance words that the tongue cannot shape
Tell stories much older than themselves
Following earth’s rhythm
The magic of beat, vividness
The smoke of the sacred grasses reveals
Wisdom of past ages
The flames unveil ultimate truth
Of ever-present life
The savants teach us to discern
Earth shares memories
Plants whisper wisdom
The fire reveals truth
Together we listen, never disrupt
We strive to comprehend
Because we are the youngest of all
Because we have the most to learn
Now I sit here again in this sacred place
Yet everything has fallen silent
The bodies are limp, sitting in silence, starring at the floor
The plants are mute, the flames have died out
The land is withered and burned
The ashes no longer share their wisdom

Ballad Of The Sorrowful
05:54
|

Burning ravens, shattered deer
Bleeding eagles, crushing fear
Defiled forests, grinded shields
All, a unique guilt
Eroded wastelands, long gone life
Endless destruction, by our hands
We have failed all measures
Chances to safe life
The blame is ours
The blame is ours

Extinction
07:42
|
|||
Streams of tears flood our paths
Anger and despair burst all hope
Bleeding wounds corrode the soil
While illusions spread like a virus
Mind outwitted itself, robbed itself of raison d'être
Self-hatred spread when repression had no future
We observed the disappearance of all being only carelessly
One day though, some were able to hear an unusual sound
The sound began to disturb and disturb
Drove people into madness and despair
Origin of the sound was the disappearance of all life
last testimony of destruction and injustice
The shrill and aching sound, sound of extinction, seemed never to end
So now we see how our deeds destroyed all
Now we feel the pain we caused
The last resort is to take life from ourselves
And thus become part of something bigger for the last time – the last great lament of all life

Depletion and collapse of all
The grief, anger, anguish
The stitches and torment, shame
The blame is ours, the blame is ours

Vlk Berlin, Germany
Founded in 2021, Vlk has risen from the dark times of our present.
"Vlk" (pronounced "wilk"), Czech for
"wolf", is a symbol, an allegory for the conflictual encounter between us and nature, which allows us to become aware of our own alienation and hubris. Vlk is about this conflict, and everything that can grow and flourish from it.
Thus vlk stands for dark, distorted, transgressive music and art
